University Studies / College Transfer Programs - UNC System Course Acceptance GuaranteeUniversity Transfer Guarantee

The University Studies Program is designed for students to earn the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Engineering, or Associate in Fine Arts degree and then continue their education as juniors at a university. Sandhills also offers Associate in Applied Science degrees that will transfer into university-designated baccalaureate degree programs. On the Sandhills campus, students can also earn selected degrees from two universities. Please use the links on the menu for details.

Important note to Transfer Students starting at Sandhills Community College in Fall 2014:  Due to changes in the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA), effective Fall 2014, the Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), and Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) curriculum degree requirements have changed significantly.

If you are starting your A.A., A.F.A., or A.S. degree at Sandhills Community College in Fall 2014, then you are under this new agreement and will have new degree requirements.

However, if you have been continuously enrolled at SCC in an A.A., A.F.A., or A.S. degree program, you are under the old CAA and will use those degree requirements.

When using the menu links for the degrees, you will be directed to the appropriate degree information, so be sure to read carefully and select the appropriate degree information, based on when you first enrolled for courses in your A.A. A.F.A., or A.S. degree program.
